People Who Care About Me

My name is {{childName}}. This is a story about the people who care about me. I have people who care about me very much — my family, my friends, and helpers at school. They are my people, and this story is about them and me.

My people enjoy my company, my ideas, and the things that make me unique. They like hearing about my favourite topics. I matter to them on easy days and on hard days. Caring does not switch off when a day is tricky.

Caring shows up in lots of ways. It can look like a hug, a question about my day, help with something tricky, or someone just sitting near me. When I notice these moments, I am noticing love. They happen more often than I might think.

I am cared about just as I am. That never depends on having a perfect day. My people are proud of me, and they are glad I am me. I am loved — today, tomorrow, and always.
